Elsek’s panelized fabrication system allows high speed manufacture of transportable and modular houses in factory environments. Our Modular houses are a low cost housing initiative by Elsek Construction Limited. Elsek Construction Limited specializes in the provision of light steel building options and utility site services. We offer our client’s support services through design, assembling, engineering, manufacturing, project management, procurement and logistics to deliver affordable housing for all.

All our products can be tailored to suit the building code requirements of each client with the aim of providing innovative, industry compliant, cost effective solutions that are capable of rapid deployment and erection. With offices in Nairobi and Mombasa, manufacturing is placed to provide shelter as it is a basic need to all.

FOLDABLE

Simple structure starting from 300,000 kshs. which includes ( date : 1st August 2015 )

  1. Steel Foundation could be filled with E.P.S. and finished with a top layer of concrete
  2. Aluminum frames and Expanded Polystyrene Styrofoam
  3. Aluminum Roof Trusses and Roof profiles
  4. Aluminum Roofing sheets
  5. Special Chemical for adding to concrete for hardening
  6. Steel – aluminum self-drilling screws
  7. Fiber Cement screws
  8. Electrical wiring and assembly
  9. Plumbing and assembly
  10. Fiber cement boards
  11. E.P.S sheets for roof sound and heat/cold insulation

100% Kenyan material is used for production of this type of modular housing in Elsek’s factory. This type of house runs on solar energy but is connectable to a main electricity line. Payments can be made in installments. Please refer to our group webpage on finance for more details.

Technical Specification

  1. Outer Walls : 140 mm width 18 density Expanded polystyrene Styrofoam framed by 0, 7 mm Aluminum U frames covered by 15 mm cement sand and chemical mixture for hardening the walls covered second coat of 15 mm normal cement and sand mixture.
  2. Interior Walls : 90 mm width 18 density Expanded polystyrene Styrofoam framed by 0,7 mm Aluminum U Frames covered by 15 mm cement sand and chemical mixture for hardening the walls second coat covered by 15 mm normal cement and sand mixture plastered with gypsum for smooth surface.
  3. Roof : Trusses made by 90 mm width trusses supported by roof profiles covered by 30 mm insulation Expanded Polystyrene Styrofoam covered by Aluminum sheets.
  4. Floor : First quality Ceramic tiles
  1. Wet areas : Will be covered by ceramic tiles.
  2. Windows :Single glazing sliding U.P.V.C windows.
  3. Doors : Interior and exterior doors American Panel doors.
  4. Kitchen : In total 1,2 meters kitchen laminate top with acrylic sink.
  5. Sanitary : All EU standard
  6. Plumbing : All inside house PPR type Kenya Bureau of standard approved pipes.
  7. Electricity wiring i. Lighting 1,5 mm twin with earth ii. Socketing 2,5 mm twin with earth iii. Main supply 10 mm twin with earth
